Why asking 'how old are you?' isn't rude in South Korea

[Deutsche Welle Emmy Sasipornkarn] (전략) A January 2022 study by the South Korean polling and consultancy firm Hankook Research showed that 71% of South Koreans endorsed simplifying the age system, with some even hoping that it would help "reduce conflict and confusion in the culture of hierarchy based on age."
